Leigh Ann Junod

Mrs. Leigh Ann Junod was born in Brewton, Alabama and has lived in Macon for forty-six years. She is a graduate of Stratford Academy in Macon. Mrs Junod has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia College and State University.

Mrs. Junod was awarded the Young Career Woman of the Year award from the Macon Business and Professional Women’s Organization in 1995. She is a graduate of the Leadership Macon Class of 1996.

Mrs. Junod is a Georgia Certified Residential Appraiser with twenty-seven years of experience appraising in the Central Georgia area. She specializes in residential and land valuation. Mrs. Junod previously served six years on the Board of Assessors and served as Vice Chairman of the board during that time.

Mrs. Junod is an active member of Martha Bowman Church and has served on the Staff-Parish Relations Committee, Trustees and Finance Committees. She also enjoys playing the hand bells in the church hand bell choir.

Mrs. Junod is married to Michael Junod and they have two grown daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys home improvement projects, yard work, visiting family and traveling.
